    South Asia bureau chief

    John Reed is the Financial Times’s South Asia bureau chief, based in New Delhi. He joined the FT in 2000, working as a foreign correspondent and business reporter in Bangkok, Jerusalem, London, Johannesburg, and Warsaw, and contributing to the FT’s coverage of the war in Ukraine in 2014 and 2022.
