    Daniel Garrahan

    Senior video journalist

    Daniel Garrahan is senior video journalist at the Financial Times. He has been making films for the FT since 2007 and has served as a reporter, producer, director and editor.

    He won the Video Journalism of the Year award at the 2021 Wincott Awards for his film SoftBank: piecing the puzzle together. His 2022 film The Brexit effect: how leaving the EU hit the UK was a viral sensation and has been watched more than 6mn times across the FT's different platforms as of June 2023.

    He started at the FT in 2000 as a web page editor. Before joining the video team he worked for features, companies, world, the main newsdesk and the multimedia desk.
